Key Sustainability Highlights
- HCSC recycles approximately 576,000+ pounds of cardboard, plastic, and paper each year, significantly reducing landfill waste.
- In the past year, HCSC repurposed over 848,000 pounds of “ragged” linen through a partnership with Oscar Daniel, giving materials a second life.
Energy Efficiency & Innovation
- Installed three new Fulton VSRT high-efficiency gas boilers at our Camden facility to improve energy performance.
- Upgraded all facilities with high-efficiency LED lighting, replacing outdated fluorescent systems.
- Implemented ozone-generating systems in tunnel washers, reducing both water and chemical usage.
HCSC is a proud member of the American Reusable Textile Association (ARTA), supporting sustainable practices across the textile industry.
