There are many different circumstances surrounding curtains and the recommended time between cleanings. If a privacy curtain is soiled with bodily fluids or is from an isolation room, the curtain needs to be removed and hygienically cleaned. For this reason, we recommend keeping a few clean back-up curtains, as these can be changed immediately, reducing interruptions to patient care.
