HCSC has 5 processing plants throughout the northeast. Your processing plant depends on your hospital’s location. As soon as a sleep study has concluded, the soiled linen is picked up by an HCSC associate. Once it has been transported to the processing plant, the linen is hygienically laundered and returned to you ready to serve the next patient. This process takes 48hrs from the time the soiled linen is picked up.
