For more than 40 years, the Hospital Central Services, Inc. Education Fund has demonstrated HCSC’s commitment to promoting quality educational programs for the residents of Eastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey. This includes grant presentation to non-profit organizations throughout our region in support of their valuable educational initiatives, and the annual presentation of the annual High School Hero Blood Donor Recruitment Scholarship and Bill & Jackie Younger Student Volunteer Scholarship awards.
The primary source of revenue for our Education Fund is HCSC’s Annual Golf Outing, which in 2019 was renamed in memory of J. Michael Lee, DBA, LFACHE, who served as HCSC’s President & CEO from 1980 until his retirement in 2013. Mike’s dedication to HCSC and his community will never be forgotten, and there is no more fitting way to honor his memory each September.
