HCSC Holds Ribbon Cutting for New Delaware Valley Laundry Plant

Joined by representatives of the Camden County Regional Chamber of Commerce and Camden City Council, Hospital Central Services Cooperative, Inc. (HCSC) recently hosted a ribbon cutting celebration for its newly reopened Healthcare Textile Processing Plant in Camden, NJ.  

Following brief remarks by HCSC’s Pete Castagna, President & CEO, the celebratory ribbon was cut by Eric Stas, Regional General Manager.  Tours of the newly renovated Laundry Plant were provided, and refreshments were enjoyed by those in attendants.  

During fiscal year 2019-20, HCSC production facilities processed more than 113-million pounds of healthcare linen including scrubs, garments, towels, pillowcases, sheets and more. It is anticipated that the Camden facility will process approximately 18-million pounds of healthcare linen during its first year of operation.
